【Electrical Control Laboratory】
Supervising Instructor: Prof. Ku-Wen Huang
Location: Room M303, Mechanical Engineering Building
【Laboratory Introduction】
This laboratory serves as a core educational facility for cultivating professional talents in electrical control, industrial automation, and programmable logic controller (PLC) software and hardware integration. The curriculum design combines fundamental electrical engineering concepts with sequence control principles, guiding students from basic relay control and motor drive circuits to PLC ladder logic programming, thereby building solid capabilities in industrial automation system development and practical debugging.
Solid Electrical Engineering Practice, Mastering Motor Control Fundamentals: Utilizing various electrical machine and motor cross-section/experimental modules to provide in-depth understanding of classic industrial control circuits, including induction motor forward/reverse control and Y-Δ (Star-Delta) reduced-voltage starting.
Sequence Control & Ladder Logic, Fostering Automation Logic: Systematically teaching traditional relay sequence control and PLC ladder diagram programming to establish rigorous industrial control logic thinking.
PLC Software-Hardware Integration, Connecting with Industrial Automation: Integrating PLC controllers, control wiring layouts, and system integration exercises to simulate real-world factory automation control scenarios, enhancing students' practical problem-solving capabilities.
